 This blog is where I record my thoughts about theology, education, motherhood, and the books I'm reading. I'm always continuing to learn and grow. You're welcome to learn and grow along with me and your input is always welcome.

 Here are a few things to know about me:

 I am a Christian...
Saved by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8) and seeking to have my manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ (Phil. ) so that when others see me it brings glory to God (1 Peter ).

I am a wife...
To an amazing and godly husband – serving God by ministering to college students through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. 

I am a mom...
To 4 children. A lovely 6 year old daughter who loves to read, laugh, and play. A "tough" 4 year old son who makes me laugh every day. A charming 2 year old boy who will sing "Amazing Grace" (multiple verses) to anyone, anywhere, anytime. An adorable baby boy with an irresistibly deep dimple on one side.

 I am a reader...
My idea of a perfect afternoon is a book, a comfy chair, and a hot drink

I am a homeschooler...
If you want to talk about education, be prepared. I have a lot to say. We follow the Charlotte Mason philosophy within the classical tradition. We're always learning more about how that's done well, but if you haven't, I highly recommend reading her original writings... amazing wisdom on every page.
